AIRES aims to foster dialogue among researchers, educators, policymakers, students, quality assurance agencies, civil society organizations, and industry representatives on the opportunities, risks, and safeguards of artificial intelligence in education.

For this reason, we are opening a Call for Posters that showcase ongoing work, emerging ideas, policy developments, institutional experiences, and open challenges related to: the responsible development, deployment, governance, opportunities, risks, and the safeguarding of AI in educational settings.

• We welcome a wide range of contributions, including theoretical, empirical, methodological, policy-oriented, and practice-based work. 

• Submissions may address any of the AIRES 2027 conference themes. 

• We particularly encourage interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary contributions that bring together perspectives from multiple disciplines and sectors, including collaborations with educational institutions, quality assurance agencies, civil society organizations, and industry stakeholders.

Submission Format

We invite a wide range of contributions, including but not limited to ongoing/early-stage work, work under review elsewhere, already published work, case studies from industry, and open challenges in research or practice.

Please prepare the following for your submission:

• Poster: posters should be submitted as a PDF file. 

• Short abstract: we ask for a short abstract of the work, which will be useful for reviewers to evaluate the relevance of your poster w.r.t. the workshop themes.

We recommend printing your poster in A0 vertical.

Evaluation Criteria

Posters will be evaluated based primarily on their relevance to the conference. Also, quality and clarity, originality, potential for impact, and the need for a diverse and balanced program play a role.
